Fitting components provide exceptional dimensional, metallurgical, and mechanical uniformity that allow predictable, repeatable installation. Meet NPT (National pipe thread) threads standard. Possible to measure consistent with the first installation. Used ASTM A479 Stainless steel 316 for straight type of fittings.  The two ferrules separate sealing and tube gripping functions : each ferrule is optimized for its function. The front ferrule creates a seal : against the fitting body, on the tubing outside diameter. As the nut is turned, the back ferrule : axially advances the front ferrule, radially applies an effective tube grip.

 1. Fully insert the tube into the fitting and against the shoulder; rotate the nut finger-tight. 2. Mark the nut at the 6 o’clock position. 3. While holding the fitting body steady, tighten the nut one and one-quarter turns to the 9 o’clock position. |
